Qualified Member with ISO 17100:2015 certification of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI) in London, Life Member of the American Translators Association (ATA) and member of the New England Translators Association (NETA), the New York Circle of Translators (NYCT) and the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) in the United States.

Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science and Master of Arts in International Studies received from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut; Master of Arts in Theology (Moral Theology ‐ Summa Cum Laude) and Post‐Masters Certificate in Theology (Sacred Scripture ‐ Summa Cum Laude) received from Holy Apostles College and Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut and a Licentiate Degree in Sociology received from the Universidad Argentina John F. Kennedy in Buenos Aires, Argentina

 

Former College Professor and Lecturer of Latin American Politics, International Relations, Business Spanish

 

Former faculty member at the University of Connecticut, Eastern Connecticut State University, the University of Tampa, and Texas Christian University where courses were taught on International Affairs, Introductory Spanish, Latin American Civilization and Business Spanish

Author of two books, The Stroessner Era: Authoritarian Rule in Paraguay published in the United States by Westview Press in 1990 and Paraguay y la Era de Stroessner, published by RP Ediciones in Asunción, Paraguay in 1992. The American Political Science Review recognized this book as "a major contribution to Latin American studies"
